Prior to Hutto ISD I worked as a Senior Learning Experience Designer for Six Red Marbles working closely with external clients, subject matter experts, and internal designers to bring learning and training opportunities into the the online space.

I have also worked for the Austin Independent School District as a Professional Learning Design Specialist co-leading major district initiatives like the Teacher Induction Program, Mentoring, National Board Certification, Leadership Pathways, and Student Teaching. My teams supported training and quality control initiatives to drive operational efficiency and enhance workplace performance. We helped employees in our Revenue Cycle Management Department do their very best work! My experience at Natera has proven that I can close any gap in subject matter expertise quickly and efficiently, and my technical aptitude in education/learning is applicable and valuable across multiple industries.

Prior to Natera, I worked for Education Service Center Region 13 in Austin, Texas.  I coordinated our Digital Learning Department in which we assisted school districts in implementing digital learning initiatives to facilitate high quality teacher and student learning outcomes.

I love the subject of learning... and I love learning!  I recently completed my Master of Education in Educational Technology at Texas State University.  It was an amazing adventure in examining theories of learning and ways technology can enhance the learning process. I kind of wish the adventure wasn't over.

I am passionate about finding ways to create innovative, relevant, and effective learning experiences for all types of learners: students, professionals, leaders.  This website contains some samples of work I have developed to that end.
